My gorgeous nephew, Jake Kershaw, died suddenly on 5th Sept 2008 from a brain tumour which was not diagnosed until AFTER his death.   We felt that the doctors had let us down by not sending him for a scan, but after reading your story of how Conor suffered in his final weeks with the tracheotomy etc I am grateful that Jake did not have to go through all that - it must have broken your hearts to watch Conor deteriorate & not be able to make him better.
Thank you for sharing your story & our thoughts are with you.

Connors' story is a beautiful but heart rendingly sad one. Your strength, love and devotion to him is obvious. Your loss must be devastating. Good luck with your charity work. I will keep watching to see how you all get on. God Bless you both and all of your familiesxxx a.h.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beautifull boy, your site has had me in tears as i have felt the pain of losing a little one far too soon! and know the pain too well,, your sons story highlights the meaning of life and the love u have shown for him is remarkable, well done for turning such sadness into something so positive, and taking   steps towards achieving ur goal, i am sure ur son is very proud of u! as u should be of yourselves mm xxx

WE DID IT!!!
I can't believe what a fantastic night we managed to produce. It was such a lovely feeling seeing all those people, who were there to show Connor what a special little man he was. He certainly touched their hearts as well as ours. Connor will never leave us, not while we all have such love for him. Through him, and a lot of hard work from us, WE WILL help all the other children, who develop this terrible tumour, have some hope for the future xxxxxx Connors Nanny Ali
P.S To all our guests who attended this ball, thank you all for your support, generosity and lovexx alison

Morning guys, We have just arrived home after a very nice night in The Village hotel hopefully helping to raise some well needed funds for connors appeal, Pete and Kate you are our heroes as much as some people dont want to hear it you give us all hope.   we could not even start to understand what you have been through and you families, but we will promise one thing we will always be there for you and your and your plans to help with a cure for ATRT,   Stephanie helpled at her last job in the nursery and promises to keep it going every chance she gets. raising as much funding as possible.   I have just read Connors story and as soon as i finished went upstairs to hold our Son so tightly its a wonder he never woke up and slapped me silly.   Once again pete and kate our hearts are forever with you and always will be Peter (john candy) and stephanie.
